What Is the Myopia Control Clinic?
The Myopia Control Clinic at the NECO Center for Eye Care is a evidence-based treatment program for myopia located at our Commonwealth location. As instances of myopia are on the rise, the clinic seeks to slow or even stop the progression of myopia in children by using the latest research-based treatments for controlling myopia.
The Myopia Control Clinic offers four evidence-based treatments shown to be effective for many children that have been developed in the last decade. Our doctors have academic appointments at New England College of Optometry and research backgrounds. They will perform advanced testing to determine the best treatment method for each child and work with families to customize a treatment plan for their child. Learn more about myopia.
